Track our progress as we achieve our Goals and Objectives § Increase community knowledge of the Coast Starlight and the benefits of train travel - Working with Amtrak and Google Transit to provide more information on the Coast Starlight route and connecting services § Support community efforts to promote train travel to and from their communities - Currently distributing our CSCN postcards/flyers, along with route guides and timetables to local stations and onboard trains - Currently developing an on-demand marketing website where advocates can order supplies to help advocate train travel in their communities § Inspire communities to improve their Amtrak stations § Work with Amtrak to improve and refine onboard service standards - Currently working on a white paper to send to Amtrak and other rail advocacy groups. This white paper will describe ways that Amtrak can improve service and reliability along the Coast Starlight route to make it a more appealing travel option. § Encourage Amtrak and host railroads to improve on-time-performance and shorten travel times Become involved!
